Volunteers Needed: VCU Food Drive Benefiting Central Virginia Food Bank - Meeting on April 6th!

More than 600,000 Virginians are “food insecure.” It is estimated that the economic downturn has increased these levels by 30 percent, while food banks are experiencing a shortage in donations. VCU Business Services needs volunteers for the semiannual VCU Food Drive April 14-16. An informational meeting for prospective volunteers will be held Monday, April 6, at 1 p.m. in Rodney’s on the first floor of Shafer Court Dining Center.
